I've worked in sustainability for over 15 years — in-house and as an independent consultant. Conferences are how this field stays connected, and I've spent more hours than I'd like to admit tracking dates, chasing down new events, and catching early bird deadlines before they slipped past. Clients started asking me where they should go to learn more and meet people doing similar work. I realized there wasn't one resource I could send them to.
Events worth your time
Sustainability Lineup is a directory of conferences where sustainability practitioners gather to share, learn, connect, and move the work forward. Events range from general sustainability management to targeted topics (e.g. circularity) to industry-specific gatherings (e.g. healthcare).
Our event inclusion criteria: To be listed, an event generally needs to meet most of the following:

Professional audience Content aimed at working practitioners — not purely academic or general public.

Access and scale Open registration. Generally 100 or more attendees, or a track record of convening influential voices on sustainability.

Full day or more At least one full day of programming — not a webinar or half-day workshop.

Location We are US focused for now. Large national conferences, regional events, and even local events will all be considered.
